Project Overview
MSI Reproductive Choices UK needed a digital solution to meet the rising demand for both NHS-funded and private reproductive health services. The organisation supports over 85,000 individuals through services including abortion care, contraception and vasectomy. With growing pressure on contact centres, they required an online platform to streamline triage and booking while maintaining confidentiality, safety and compassionate care.
Problem Statement
Claryon worked in close partnership with MSI to develop a secure and accessible online booking and e-forms platform. Extensive user research shaped the design, with 17 discovery workshops capturing insights across patient and staff journeys. Agile delivery and close collaboration with third-party providers ensured smooth integration with MSI’s electronic patient records and internal systems.
The Outcome
The platform launched in early 2023, giving new and returning service users a fast, private and intuitive route to care. In the first two weeks, MSI treated 47% more people and completed 51% more phone consultations than the previous year. The new system is enabling more timely access to reproductive healthcare and supporting global efforts to reduce unintended pregnancies and maternal deaths.
